• iPad for Inclusivity

  This iPad is being used to deliver instruction daily. As soon as we got the iPad, it helped my classroom to read grade appropriate texts with Google translate. The students who are bilingual can screenshot the page we are reading and translate it into their own language. This iPad has given my students an opportunity to succeed in the classroom. The EL students and all the others that are in need, can get the interventions that are needed to catch up to grade level. Thank you for supporting my classroom. This is a game changer for all my students who do not have any English in their vocabulary yet.”

• Printer Needed

  Thank you so much for your generous donations towards our printer. When the printer arrived my students were so excited. ! I have to admit I was too.. The students are able to write on their computers and we can print out the written work to hang up, which is a big deal to us. I have had the opportunity to print more teaching tools I have purchased to enhance our curriculum and for all my students to be successful. This is a life changer to us.

  The impact that this printer has on our classroom is immense. I now am able to print awesome teacher made items that I have purchased to help enrich and intervene the learning that is going on in my classroom. • Toner Needed

  Thank you so much for the toner. My class of students is now able to stay on task and continue with their education, without major interruption, I can make all the necessary copies needed and in case I need extras last minute I could just print them in seconds. My students are so happy and we can be productive in the classroom. My English Language Learners have an easy way to see examples of work. I can also make is harder or easier, depending on their needs. This can be done within seconds! Thank you for your donation and for allowing my classroom to get the education they need.”

• Chairs Needed

  Safe chairs are a classroom essential and are meant to be sturdy and used for learning. With your donation, you made make sure each child has a safe chair to sit in each day. Our guided reading table looks so much better and is safe. All my students who are learning how to read, especially my EL Learners, use this table and love being in the back of the room with the special chairs. Thank you for taking the time to fund this project and helping the students in Philadelphia. We appreciate your help.”

• Headphones Needed!

  Headphones are essential every day in our classroom. Without working headphones, it is extremely difficult for my students to concentrate and complete their assigned online activities. Thanks to you , I replaced all the nonworking headphones. There is always a constant need for new headphones. While it would be ideal for each student to bring their own headphones and for headphones to last all school year, many times it does not happen or they are broken mid way through the year. My students are very successful since we did get new ones to replace the broken ones. Headphones are great to have to continue supporting my students academically and for them to keep learning. Thank you for making my classroom successful.”

• Chairs for 4th Grade!

  Funded May 17, 2022

  These new chairs are a great addition to our classroom to start this new year because my students are comfortable throughout the day, it helps them better focus on learning. With your support, my classroom now has different seating arrangements and areas in which students can do work and will provide them different opportunities for them to explore their own learning style. My class rotates using these chairs daily throughout the week. Students really enjoy sitting by each other and working. I offer a special spot for many and it increases stamina so students can work independently. Thank you very much for your donation and my students are thankful as well. These chairs have made a big difference in our classroom.”

• Table Needed for Small Group Instruction

  Thank you so much for the small table that was needed for my small group instruction. I am able to meet with my struggling students one to one because of you. We are working with dividers due to the pandemic but we make it work. We just returned to school a couple weeks ago and we are on roll. The children are so happy to be back and to be able to get the small group instruction needed. Thanks so much for all your help! We will use this for many years to come. • Keeping It Clean-First Response Kit

  Funded Sep 16, 2020

  Thank you so much for helping us return safely to school. We are able to clean our classroom, everyday. The children use the facemasks and change them out as needed. This was such a big help for all the children. We are back to hybrid learning and it feels so great! We have clean laptops, countertops and tables. We are able to keep 6 feet apart and because of this we are staying healthy and safe. All the children are so happy to be back, thanks for making this happen. We want to continue to be back in school, five days a week and it will happen soon !”
