The Next Generation Science Standards asks students to observe and explain phenomena on a continuous basis. These students need to have the skills to create models that explain scientific phenomena. They also need to have the skills to analyze scientific phenomena and apply science practices that support their explanations of this phenomena. These safety goggles will allow our classroom to participate and engage in more labs and activities to learn through and justify our phenomenon learning. Students will be able to use all information from these labs and activities to make connections to science practices, skills and other sciences outside the classroom.
