  • An Apple Today Keeps the Children Engaged!

    Thank you for your generosity as it has brought many smiles to my students faces. We received 4 Ipads instead of 5 because they were out of stock. However, with the remaining amount we were able to purchase 10 lap surf tables to help them write during instruction and serve as a seating option for independent work. The technology is helping our students do research for assignments and they are able to play educational games to reinforce concepts taught at school.

    The students are excited to work together and read books on Epic (Online Library) as they learn and research about leaders that have contributed to society. They even recorded themselves presenting their leader for Women's History Month and Black History Month.

    All the students are always asking to use the Ipads and the surf tables throughout the day. Your contribution to these amazing tools are greatly appreciated!”

  • Colorful Classroom!

    I want to start off by expressing my heartfelt thank you to you for helping me provide my students with a color printer, printing paper, ink and laminating sheets.

    The color printer has allowed me to make their hard work come to life through colorful bulletin boards. I am able to print and laminate behavior token boards, first and then schedules for some of my students with special needs, organized folders and colorful flow of the day schedule cards to name a few.

    One of the exciting thing about the color printer besides being useful for everything in the classroom, is that the students we so excited to create themselves as an avatar, write math word problems and then solve their peer's problem. The color printer made their work that much brighter which was displayed in a bulletin board.

I use color in my classroom to create a warm and inviting ambiance. A color printer will make a difference in my students' learning because color is engaging! This printer will enable me to create posters, parent newsletters, various visual aids, charts, activities, and assignments in color for my students. This printer along with laminating sheets will ensure that we have durable learning resources that make our daily activities fun and more visually appealing. We will be able to use this printer for adding pictures to our word/sound walls, printing work to display on our bulletin boards, and creating a print-rich environment. I'm excited to have the option of a printer with a refillable tank for ink that will save money and help the environment. I think this printer will be a great addition to my classroom for years to come.
