  • Hurricane Harvey Washed Away Our Table And Chairs!

    This is fantastic news! The students will be able to be successful sitting around the table with chairs that fit with teacher in front of them giving them individualized instruction. These students need additional instruction outside their general education classroom in order to help them succeed.   • Hurricane Harvey Took Our Projector and Chairs

    WOW! Thank you so much for your kindness in supporting these students learning. The chairs will help students to sit around table and desks comfortably. The projector will be used present power point presentations from computer/laptop to projector. These students need individualized instruction in order for them to return to the general education classroom and perform tasks on grade level. Once again, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing these items for the school and students.”

My students need a place to gather and work on small group projects and to receive small group instruction. Currently we are working with 4 small student desks, 3 chairs, a small bookcase and not much else! The students are not complaining but I can tell they need a more structured atmosphere to do their work. We also need to replace our all-in-one printer copier. Ours was damaged in the flood and it's difficult to get the copies my students use when doing their work. The printer is also used for confidential paperwork like ARD packets for State Folders and to send to parents.

About my class
