A classroom meeting area changes the entire climate from an institutional setting to a home where learning continues to happen. A meeting/carpet area is essential in getting every school day off to a great start. Coming together to share, sing, and laugh can make a huge difference in a young child's day. Carpet time is a time for learning new things, sharing, listening, and enjoying friends in a supportive and safe environment. All of these activities are important and necessary in the development and growth of the young child. A classroom carpet is a great way to promote positive behavior and create a warm friendly environment in which to learn and grow.
