The use of computers in my classroom and specific district chosen computer programs are mandatory in both ELA and Math. Students are using Imagine Learning and Dreambox as a part of an emphasis on Blended Learning. Students are actively engaged in these programs up to 45 minutes a day. All my students with special needs will be able to access the same computer programs their peers are using on the iPad. My students with autism will use communication apps to help communicate their needs and wants. My more difficult behavior students with disabilities will use the iPad as a reward for being an active learner in our classroom community.
