The students at North Middle School have never had a theatre program that any student could choose to participate. The school is in it's fourth year in offering theatre as a class, but there has never been a production outside of class work. We have just auditioned and cast our first production ever. We have a very small budget to work with and to be able to do future productions we need to stretch that budget. I want to build scenery out of lightweight reusable materials that would not only benefit the current cast, but could be used and easily stored for students to use for years to come. I want to build 4 periaktois (triangular set pieces) out of PVC piping. They can then be taken apart and stored in a couple duffle bags when they arn't being used.
