Color Our Learning
Funded May 6, 2020I cannot begin to describe the impact of your donation to my classroom. With the hp printer, I can print students' work in color, and they get to see their writing come alive. The scanner in the printer allows me to scan the writing models and other content they need to upload in their class files and then use at home.
When the printer arrived, I showed it to the students online and it certainly put a smile on my students' faces! We do a lot of STEM projects and hands-on activities, and my students can now show their creativity by having their work printed in color. The printed work will be displayed throughout the class and halls.
Although my students are online at this time, they see their work displayed in my room and their faces are filled with pride knowing that they are somehow in the school when their work is displayed on the bulletin boards.
They take pride in their work and most of the time strive for perfection especially when they must present the final product. I always want my students to feel good about themselves and their work and I know this would be another way to accomplish their good feelings. Thank you for joining me in setting the tone for my future artists, designers, engineers, and architects by giving them an early start in creating and producing quality work. Thank you once again for your generosity and giving my students the gift of a color printer!”

Funded Dec 1, 2020I am humbled and blessed to write this letter of gratitude for helping me fund this project. Words cannot express the relief I felt to know that I would be able to have this steam cleaning machine in my classroom to ensure a safe and clean environment for my students. The steam cleaning machine helps me with ensuring that my students come into a clean and sanitize classroom once we are given the clearance to return face to face. As for my it's keeping face to face students who come in my room safe.
I have created a routine where I clean my student's desk one by one with the sanitizer every morning because at this time we are using my classroom for students that have return face to face. Since my class is online only at the moment. I have let students Visiting my class for breakfast know that these products were funded by generous donors like you, that believe in their education and are rooting for them to have a better future. Their little faces light up as they realize that people like you care enough to ensure that they are entering a clean, germ and virus free environment where all they must worry about is their learning and future goals.
I just want to say thank you again from the bottom of my heart for helping me create a clean and healthy environment for students in my school. This would not have been possible without your support.”

Funded Aug 11, 2020I cannot begin to express my gratitude for helping my students and I fund this project. With today's uncertainties, it is nice to know that donor's like you choose to create an impact on education. My students have not been able to come into our classroom due to Covid but they have certainly enjoyed their classroom through distant learning Zoom meetings.
I decorated the classroom with many of the resources you helped fund, knowing that my students would love every part of their new room and feel welcomed in every way possible. I decided to share each part of our room with our students and allowed them to see where they would be learning once the permission to come back to school would be granted by district. Needless to say my students became excited as they saw the fully colored bulletin boards where their work would be display.
The materials that I have requested have made it possible for students to return to a welcoming classroom atmosphere even if it through zoom. They have help brighten our classroom and get our minds ready to learn.
The students enjoy the background colors and decorations and your donations have helped make the learning environment welcoming and warm. They feel inspired to learn and we owed this all to you and you great generosity.”

Funded Aug 11, 2020I am humbled and blessed to write this letter of gratitude for helping me fund this project. Words cannot express the relief I felt to know that I would be able to have this steam cleaning machine along with UV sanitizing wands in my classroom to ensure a safe and clean environment for my students. The steam cleaning machine has helped me with ensuring that my students come into a clean and sanitized environment. The wands allow me to sanitize small things like doorknobs and light switches.
Every afternoon, I have created a routine where I clean my student's desk one by one with the sanitizer and I let my students know that these products were funded by generous donors like you, that believe in their education and are rooting for them to have a better future. Their little faces light up as they realize that people like you care enough to ensure that they are entering a clean, germ and virus free environment where all they must worry about is their learning and future goals. Full STEAM AHEAD with a Cricut Press
Funded May 21, 2019Thank you so much for your contribution to this classroom project. My students were very excited when they heard the news that they will be receiving the Cricut press. They are more than eager to start creating shirts for field trips, student of the month and other school activities and clubs. They are even talking about how they want to start their own printing club to sell shirts that will help with clubs and other activities around the school.
Thank you again for believing in my students and helping them achieve their full potential with projects like the one you helped fund.”

Funded Mar 1, 2019I cannot begin to express the gratitude I feel at this moment for your generous donation to this project. My students were and are so excited to receive the Cricut Explore air starters kit. The moment they received the news of the project being funded they jumped with so much excitement and could not wait to get the Cricut in the classroom. When the Cricut finally got to our school and they opened the package their little faces lit up with so much joy. My students began discussing the plans they had for this machine. From creating prettier and more colorful anchor charts to making t-shirts for the upcoming field day.
The first project created using the Cricut machine was a gallon silhouette that helped my students understand and learn about unit volume in a gallon. Students were able to include this in their math journals and were excited to see the outcome of the project; as their journals were more colorful and creative. After this first project my students are anxious to create more visuals for their journals that will help them in understanding more of the subjects they are learning in class.
The impact your donation is as big as my students' imagination. I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you again for your donations and believing in my students' future. It is donors like you that make my job easier.”

Funded Nov 20, 2018Thank you so much for your support and believing in our classroom. My students were so excited to see the laptop, fire stick and tablets and could not wait to start coding. I really appreciate you funding my project since it will impact many students in years to come. With the technology provided my students will not only be able to code but will also be able to create STEAM projects that will connect them to real world situations. They will also be able to practice Math and Reading skills on programs like Ready without worrying that the equipment using will fail to start since the equipment is out dated.
Many of my students come from low economic backgrounds and cannot afford Internet service or to have a laptop or tablet where they can do their work. Our district is pushing for 21st century technology in our schools but is not providing the necessary laptops or technology devices because they assume every student should be able to afford it. With your contribution of these devices I can further my students' education impacting their learning and helping them compete with other students who do have these devices. The most exciting product for my students is the fire stick which will allow them to streak their STEAM presentations right on to our board so that other students can see the work they will be creating.
Donors like you make it possible for me to do my job effectively. Thank you for your contribution and making the world a better place!”

Funded Oct 5, 2016Words cannot begin to express the positive impact your donation have had in our school. To begin with the camera came just in time for our fifth grade field trip to the Biscayne Nature Center. Our fifth graders went crazy taking pictures of the many things they learned during the field trip. Our photographers capture many moments that they will remember for years to come. With the pictures taken they were able to build a school bulletin board celebrating Minds at work. Besides helping make memories in our fifth grade field trip the camera also helped different grade levels snap pictures of students learning in the classroom. The pictures taken at our crazy sock day where incredible and help illustrate our October News Letter when our reporters reported what was going on in our school during the month of October.
The expression in our student faces as they use the camera to celebrate their learning and school days are priceless as you may see in the pictures attached. Many students who are usually shy can't wait to become photographers for our school Snap Shots of Minds at Work bulletin and News Letter because they feel and I quote" We are encouraging our friends to try their best in class to be part of the bulletin board and celebrate the great work they are doing in class." The camera donated by you has motivated our students to find creative ways in learning as they strive to do their best just to get picked as photographer for the day or just be part of the News around the school.
Once again I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making a difference in our students learning and showing them that there are people out in our community and country that want to see them succeed and celebrate their learning endeavors.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Leslie Diaz
Collaboration and Communication Through Technology
Funded Oct 13, 2015I would like to THANK YOU, for your generous donation to my project. It is a pleasure to see that you share the same commitment and vision for reaching our children.
The materials that you funded have enabled my students to give presentations in classroom without making them feel uncomfortable as they stood to present in-front of their peers. I wish you could have seen the expression on my students faces when they were able to give presentations using the Microsoft surface tablet right from their own seats. I saw how shy students bloom with happiness as they felt comfortable talking about the projects they had created on the tablet as they saw it enlarged on the smart-board. Furthermore the use of our class hero camera became easier as they were able to use the backpack to see what was being recorded or photographed.
Your donation has impacted my lessons in an unbelievable way. As my students created presentations on the surface tablet and use of backpack to photograph parts of their presentations, It was exciting to see them interact and communicate with each other.
As a teacher I am appreciative for your generosity. My classroom activities have been made into a lifetime memory for my students as well as for me. Your contribution to my students learning achievements has immensely made a difference. Most importantly, it has inspired me to continue innovating my lessons with more technology that will impacting many more of my students in years to come.
Again, thank you for your kindness and for making a difference at our school.”

Weird Science: Looking And Feeling Like Scienctists
Funded Oct 11, 2013Words can't fully express my gratitude and excitement. I would like to THANK YOU, for your generous donation to my project. It is a pleasure to see that you share the same commitment and vision for reaching our children.
The materials that you funded have enabled my students to create and explain their own concepts with concrete tools and allowed them the opportunity to connect with abstract concepts about the earth, moon, and weather. In addition, I wish you could have seen the expression on my students faces when they put on their lab coats and goggles. One of my students actually stated "I feel like a scientist" other comments were "I actually feel I can learn" and "This is the coolest class ever!"
Your donation has impacted my lessons in an unbelievable way. As my students explored the planets using the Solar System supplied by your kind donations, they felt inspired while conducting inquiries about the real world. It was exciting to see them experience hands-on the concepts being taught as they utilized the materials.
As a teacher I am appreciative for your generosity. My Science lab has been made into a lifetime memory for my students as well as for me. Your contribution to my students learning achievements has immensely made a difference. Most importantly, it has inspired me to continue teaching science and impacting many more lives in years to come.
Again, thank you for your kindness and for making a difference in science education at our school.”
