The students at our school are 88% English Language Learners, we need every opportunity to help them develop as bilingual learners. As computer programs are offered to our students to help them develop both of their languages, we are limited on our ability to utilize them because of faulty headphones. We have a computer lab with 25 computers but only 8 working sets of headphones. In the classroom, it would be amazing for each teacher to have 2 sets of headphones with mics. The students could use them to practice recording themselves presenting their understanding and learning. They could then review their recording to listen and watch their linguistic development.
