  • Headphones with Microphones and Web Camera

    Funded Jan 20, 2022

We appreciate your donation of headphones with microphones so much. My students use these every day to speak into while doing I-ready and Seesaw. They sue them to listen to Epic and onther educational books.

I appreciate this donation so much. Many of our studetns come from low income families and do not use technology at home. I am able to use them in Belnded Literacy Centers and the students are so engaged in their learning. We have just had very cheap headphones without micrphones. These have enhanced our learning so much!

Thank you again for your generous donation. Please know that this is doing so much good in our class as we use technology. Technology and blending technology with leraning is our future. I am grateful for the opportunity to offer differnt ways to learn to my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. L.

  • Osmo Kits to Develop Critical Thinking and Reasoning Skills

    Funded Oct 31, 2018

Thank you so much for your donation to help us receive a Mini I-Pad and Osmo Kits for our classroom! We are a low income school and many of my students don't have the opportunity to use technology at home. Many of them don't have parental support at home and so their Reading and Math skills are low.

We are using the Mini i -pad and Osmo Kits during both our Reading and Math time. There are some really great reading Apps that help the students grow in their Comprehension and Reading skills, right at their level. The Program assesses the level that they are on and uses the data to provide help where more literacy and comprehension support is needed. Similarly with Math, we use the I-pad and the Osmo Kits during our Math Centers as a way to get extra practice on their math skills. The students can practice their addition and subtraction Fast Facts. We use a program called Prodigy that assesses where their Math level is and then they can grow at their level. My students love using technology and they get so excited when it is their turn to use the I-pad or the Osmo Kits.

The Osmo Kits have some great games to help the students with Math Skills such as addition and subtraction. As well as some games to help my students with their spelling and Phonics skills.

Thank you again for your donation! These Osmo Kits and the Mini I-pad will be used everyday, several times throughout the day. We are so excited to be able to put them to good use!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. L.

I have 20 students ages 6 and 7. Our school is a Title One school. We have a mix of low and high income families. Many rent their home or apartment. More than half of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch. This is a very large school with 6 first grade classes and our resources are stretched very thin.
