My students are becoming readers and mathematicians. They are really starting to believe in their ability to read challenging texts and to work out challenging problems. Everyday I see their confidence build and the light in their eyes shine a little brighter. I am always looking for ways to increase the reading materials we have in our classroom and the math manipulatives we have to work with. I am always looking for new, out of the box, ideas to engage my students and to make learning meaningful and real.
