Our growing band program needs a 3 octave Xylophone in order to perform some standard band music for our concerts and upcoming festival. As a new charter school program, we have very few percussion instruments. Students play on percussion kits that are rented and the bell kits are very limited in range and tone. We would like to play higher level music but desperately need appropriate percussion instruments to be able to perform these pieces! Our first priority is to purchase a wooden 3 octave xylophone. We currently have only one snare drum, a tom and small bass drum that were donated from a used drum set. Most programs have several xylophones and a concert bass drum. My percussion students would greatly benefit from playing a 3 octave xylophone!
