I am requesting Legos and building materials to start an in-school Lego Club. This class will be for 2nd graders. Using Legos early can help lead students down a path of engineering. This can spark creativity and allow students to have hands on learning opportunities. The club goals include offering skill standards needed to prepare for future real world challenges and of course to have a fun time collaborating with peers. I’m so eager to witness perseverance and teamwork as students work toward common goals. Each time we meet we will have a challenge to complete and students will also be allowed free builds. Working together and being apart of a group they self select will offer many benefits. Your donation can make a huge difference.
