Your generous donation to our classroom library will help inspire my students to reclaim reading. I teach a wide variety of reading levels in my classroom, as well as a wide variety of personalities. We want our classroom library to reflect that. These books will be used to help my students meet their independent reading challenge goals and contribute to our school and community-wide Literature Share Fair. The books listed are a mix of familiar and new Young Adult fiction as well as STEM-focused nonfiction. These materials will push my students to read challenging books that will hook them. My students read every single day, and often ask me for more reading time, time to escape into the world of literature. Once a semester, our students will be asked to contribute an exhibit to our school and community-wide Literature Share Fair. My students will choose a book they have read within the two quarters to create an original project inspired by the text. I want to ensure that my students can display their higher-order thinking about a book that they are enthusiastic about. Help me to empower my students to reclaim a love of reading. Thank you so much!
