My students need more flexible seating options like the wobble chairs in order to get their wiggles out and focus! They also need tables for more opportunities to work in groups. The items that I am requesting for my classroom already have a place to go! The tables will be used to replace our old desks. We will use them for group work and this will help create a better learning atmosphere by teaching the students how to work together in teams. This will help them understand the importance of valuing other's opinions and what great things can come from working together in a group. The wobble chairs are going to help out so many of my students. They will help them get their wiggles out and focus on the instruction and their independent work. By getting their wiggles out and being able to focus, they won't miss anything important! The donations for this project will help improve my classroom by reducing the amount of behavioral issues because my students will be able to focus on their academic work with the help of the wobble chairs and by learning how to work in groups with the tables.
