Currently, we have nine computers available for use in the library. These computers are used searching the school library management software to locate a book, student research, typing essays/homework/etc., as well as ebooks and books that may be paired with interactive software. Classes come in with between 25 and 32 students in each class period. Currently, we have two breaks a day where the library is readily available to 530 students. While we do not see that much traffic, even fifty students in the library becomes an issue with only nine computers. We would like to have at least ten additional computers set up in the library to supply technology that will meet the needs of more students. The goal is to decrease wait time for student access during breaks or with classes that may come in for research.
