This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Classroom Supporter.'Printer' Perfect!
Funded Aug 28, 2019Thank you to everyone for their generous donations! Having the access to a printer in the classroom has benefit our classroom and students in so many ways.
As teachers, we are now able to use the printer to make a variety of resources accessible to our students, in a bright and fun way. We have been able to print differentiated activities, word walls cards and a variety of task cards to support students in developing their foundational skills.
Our students have also been able to use the printer to compliment their own work. They have been able to print assignments after typing on their chrome books, and search for pictures and images that would add to the work they've done on paper. They love being able to do this with their work and add fun images on to their published assignments!
Thank you, again, for the generous donations. We appreciate it greatly.”

Funded Nov 29, 2017Thank you all again for your donations. Thanks to your generosity, our students now have access to 6 tablets which provide them with endless opportunities to build on their individual skills. With this technology, students can now play math games online, connecting skills they are learning in class to real world scenarios. They also have access to websites that provide them with a variety of books that are fit for their independent levels. This not only gives students the chance to read a wide range of books aside from those in our classroom library, but it also gives them access to many more high interest books right on their level.
Our students love having access to such a wide range of books beyond our classroom library. These tablets make practicing skills independently fun and exciting. Students look forward to the time they get to spend reading or completing other activities. Students are also given the freedom to make their own activity choice on the tablets from time to time.
This technology has been especially useful and encouraging for many of our students who struggle to sit down and read independently for a decent amount of time. Now, students are enjoying reading while also building their stamina. For students who are not yet reaching grade level goals, the tablets give them the opportunity to practice and build on individual skills that will help them to continue developing, allowing them to reach grade level criteria and goals.
Thank you again for helping us bring this technology to our classroom. It has made a tremendous impact on our students' learning experience.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Hopkins
