My school is an inner city elementary school. I service 36 students as a Reading Interventionist. I have six groups per day ranging from non-readers and higher. My students are all in Warning on their reading levels for their class grade. All of my instruction is differentiated for each group. I teach phonemic awareness, alphabet letter recognition, writing behaviors and close reading skills. It is my goal to empower them with reading strategies that will increase their fluency and reading levels.
