This year our school has the incredible opportunity to start the first ever concert band! Our students have had music since they started in Kindergarten, but now it's time to put our skills to the test and begin creating music in an ensemble. However, we are building our band program from scratch and financial burden should never stand in the way of a child's ability to learn music. My musicians are some of the most talented and hardworking students around. With this new band program, I expect amazing things from them, but I want to make sure everyone is afforded the opportunity to be a part of our musical community. Saxophones are some of the most expensive instruments for a new program, so this project will ensure that my musicians are able to get the full band experience and play the instrument of their dreams!

About my class
