  • Snacks and Treats for All!

    Funded Dec 31, 2023

Thank you so much for your kindness and for supporting the children from Eneida Hartner Elementary School. These snacks and treats will come in handy to give to those children whose last meal, is the lunch they receive at our school. Each child will be able to take a treat or two home to help tide them over until they return to us the next day.

You have been such a wonderful blessing to their little life, and we all would just want to say a heartfelt thank you so much again.

We will never forget your kindness.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Smith

  • Tools For Our Financial Literacy Lessons!

    Funded Sep 24, 2023

Thank you so much for funding our classroom project for some well needed items.

The children are learning how to use the calculator and the timer and they are having a blast.

However, it is the paper that we are most thankful for. Having primary writing paper for 3rd grade students, it is the best thing since sliced bread. I had to include a couple of samples of their spelling test so that you could see how we use this paper. The children use this primary paper every day as a guide to form their letters correctly, and to make sure that their letters are touching the appropriate lines. As they are writing, I am reminding them that every word sits on a red line. I am also reminding them that their lowercase letters need to touch the lowercase lines and tall letters need to touch the capital letter lines.

We are forever grateful for your kindness and for your support for the children in our 3rd grade classroom. We will never forget your kindness and we are all wishing you the best.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Smith

  • Sanitizing Our Classroom Environment!

    Funded Aug 23, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting our Donorschoose project for cleaning supplies to help our classroom remain as free as possible from the cold and flu virus.

The children have been using the wipes at the end of everyday to clean their desks and common areas. The hand sanitizer is extremely helpful because as the students enter the classroom, they need to stop and clean their hands with some hand sanitizer.

The"D" sized batteries was placed in the automatic hand sanitizer where it dispenses enough sanitizing gel to clean the hands of my students. We are forever in your debt.

    Thanking you so much again.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Smith

  • Help Us To Get Elmer’s Glue and Scissors!

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Thank you so much for believing in what we do in the classroom. Thank you so much for helping to take the edge off from us educators who spend from our paychecks everyday, to make sure the children have what they need in the classroom.

It is extremely hard when you have a project in mind for the children to do but unfortunately you are lacking in two or more supplies to complete the project.

The children create a lot of visual art to help with their understanding of a lesson. Most of our in class projects, requires students to cut and paste and color. Now that we have some Elmer's glue, we are ready to go as we create more artwork to hang in our classroom. Thank you donor!”

  • Making Anchor Charts to Support Learning!

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. The children are such hard workers who now have access. Not just any access, but access to supplies that will help to make them greater and more successful than they ever were.

Our supplies are down to almost nothing but thanks to you and your generosity, we now have supplies and we can finish the school year stronger!

The children now have amazing colors to put to use as they create their wonderful Anchor Charts.

We will never forget your kindness.

    Thanks a million.”

  • The Importance of Writing Properly!

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting our project and taking us across the finish line. The children were so excited when they received their Primary Composition journals and other supplies. These journals will be used every morning during the Reading and Language Arts block. As teachers, we are responsible for teaching children how to write properly. In order to do so, they needed lined papers that would guide them as they formed the letters properly.

You have helped us when we were not able to help ourselves with providing these supplies for the children and we are forever thankful.

    Have a wonderful day.”

  • School Supplies Needed for Writing Exercises and Creating Graphic Organizers!

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Thank you so much for funding our project to help the students with their supplies. Students come to school on a daily basis without pencils, scissors, colored pencils etc. if you can believe it. Your kindness in funding our project, will help children whose parents face the struggle to afford supplies for them. You have been a blessing to them.

My third graders are now expected to learn how to write essays and eventually publish these essays. These supplies will definitely come in handy to aid their efforts. They will benefit from your thoughtfulness.

We are forever grateful and will never let you down. Thank you so much again for funding our project. Wishing you all the best.”

  • Replenishing Our School Supplies!

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

THANK YOU for your generous donation towards the supplies for my students. We greatly appreciate your generosity. I am looking forward to using these items with my students.

The children were so excited to receive these amazing treasures and to be honest, they arrived on time. Today we were doing an activity in class and the children did not have highlighters. Because of your generosity, I was able to provide each student with a yellow highlighter to help them to locate key information in the story.

Thank you so much for the paper, erasers, pens and just thank you so much for everything. We will never forget your kindness.”

  • I Had No Snacks for My Hungry Students!

    Funded Dec 31, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom project. Your support will help to provide food for my students that unfortunately come to school day after day with no food in their bellies. Last week, Mr. Esposito brought a few boxes to our classroom from the office and the children were so excited because they wanted to see what was inside. Once they ripped into them to see the contents, they had a new level of excitement. Needless to say, seeing the Pop-tarts, the Kind bars, the Goldfish Crackers, the chips and everything you helped to provide, well their excitement could not be contained.

Thank you so much for your kindness and for your support for the children at Eneida Hartner Elementary School. We will never forget your kindness. God bless you and your family.”

  • A Printer for Personal Pictures of Classroom Projects!

    Funded Dec 27, 2022

Thank you so much for your contributions which helped our project to cross the finish line.

When the students saw Mr. Esposito (our custodian) coming into our classroom with a couple boxes, their interests were automatically piqued. They wanted to know what was in the boxes so of course, it was as if everything in our room stopped! Needless to say, after opening the boxes and they saw the contents, they were so happy and excited. They were so happy to know that their classroom will be changing from a cluttered environment, to one that is more free of paper, paper and more papers.

You have helped us to be successful and we cannot thank you enough. We are forever in your debt. Thanking you so much from our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Smith

My classroom consists of 20 students where 11 students are boys and 9 students are girls. They are bright, energetic, smart, and have a bubbly personality and they all are eager to learn. The children come to school every day with a bright and cheerful attitude however, their home environment is one that does not provide encouragement nor support for them. Their parents have a hard time providing the necessary tools they need to be able to perform well in the classroom. In addition they are not able to provide breakfast for their children so they have to wake them up earlier than they would like to, so that they can get the children to school where there is a hot meal waiting in the cafeteria for them, so that they can have something to eat to prepare them for their day of learning. Every day it makes me feel very proud to be their teacher because they are always able to recall and explain the lessons taught.
