The use of technology is a daily activity in our classroom, especially to implement intervention programs. My students are ESS students and the intervention programs help them to stay on track. The intervention programs serve as a reinforcement of important skills such as ELA and Mathematics, that are taught daily. Many of the programs that they use require that the students have a camera and a microphone for the interactive activities. Our desktop computers are out dated and are not equipped with either of those. They are also close together so the students don't have their own space to fully concentrate without distractions. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. My babies will be able to sit in their own spaces and work independently while avoiding distractions from other students and focus on increasing their learning. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
