  • STEM projects!

    Funded Oct 31, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation! My students were so excited to see the microbit, the tiny computer. My students are learning to code the microbit to do a specific task. Students are able to apply their learning to the microbit and create a step counter and play a game of rock, paper, scissor using the tiny computers they coded. It is a new technology that will gain them experience in the future. There are many more projects we plan to do with the microbits. The students can't wait to learn more about microbits. The dominos were used to create a chain reaction after learning about energy transfers. Thank you again for your support for education!”

Thank you for your generous donation! My students were excited to see the ipad that we are using to record a school broadcast. Students are able to edit their videos on imovie and publish their broadcast for the school news. We will continue to use it year after year to record our broadcast for the school. It is easy to use and students will gain experience with filming and editing videos. It would be used for many more projects as well. • Wizard Theme Classroom!

    Funded Aug 31, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation! The wizard theme materials have made my students excited to be in my classroom. As soon as I put out the wand pens and broom pens for them to use, they used it right away and was excited to start writing for their assignments. Students earn points in my classroom and the team with the most point gets a chance to spin the wheel and get a prize. The wizard pop up pencils are a great addition to my prize collection. I put up the Harry Potter Flags in my classroom so each team can see their house flag. The materials have really changed my environment to an inviting and exciting learning environment. Thank you!”

  • Rubik's Cube for Learning!

    Funded Mar 31, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations of Rubik's Cubes! My students love it! We have been learning the process to solving a Rubik's Cube and I have had about 10 of my students solve the cube. Now they are excited to learn how to solve it quicker and other types of cubes like the 2 by 2 and 4 by 4. When they first saw the giant Rubik's Cube they were so excited and couldn't wait to get their hands on the Rubik's Cube. I also used the mini Rubik's cube to create mosaic tile pictures and one of my students was able to create a Mario photo out of the tiny Rubik's Cubes. This has definitely challenged my students critical thinking skills and they love it.”
