  • No Frontiers, No Barriers in our Multicultural Class!

    Funded Oct 16, 2019

I am so excited our class project was fully funded!!!! Thank you all so much for helping to contribute to its success. My students are so enthusiastic using the tablet for their projects, make-up work and carrying out their accommodations in order to be on the same page as their peers.

These kids are really motivated and engaged thanks to this piece of technology. They love using it for our practice recordings for the AP exam. In addition, they can do make-up work for listening recordings in class so they do not have to stay after school to do missed work. Every time I ask for volunteers for research I have plenty of students raising their hands, which is amazing.

Again, I thank you very much for all your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Medina

  • Education Without Barriers

    Funded Dec 20, 2017

On behalf of the students I teach, please accept our heartfelt thanks for the donation of the Acer laptop, case, mousse and the Microsoft Office package. The support we receive from strong community partners like you makes a big difference in our ability to help our participants. Your caring spirit is greatly appreciated.

Your gift enables us to better serve students who have special needs or have an injury, and cannot hand write. I see the impact you make on the faces and in the excited responses of students whose special needs and situation have not affected their writing, reading or listening skills thanks to you . Never question as to whether or not you make a difference, trust me you do.

Once again I am writing to express my thanks for the great job you all do in your efforts to aid our students. The selfless work you do with your donation touches so many lives and lifts the spirits of our pupils”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Medina
