Many websites and resources we have access to need sounds. My students all learn at different paces and some need to re-watch a video clip or instructions more than once. If all my students listen to videos at the same time it gets very loud in our room and gets to be more distracting than helpful. Reliable, personal headphones will allow each of my students to fully experience all the advantages the technology we have access to offers. If our headphones does not work, my students have two options, they either turn off the sound and lose the benefits and much of the excitement in their work or they turn the volume low straining to listen. Reliable headphones will allow my students to use the resources available without interruption or distractions from others.
