My kindergarten students have various personalities that make up our classroom! They walk into the room every day full of life and eager to learn. I greet my students at the door and let them know I am glad they are at school. Our day is filled with hard work, hugs, encouragement, and celebrations of success. One phrase you will hear often in my room is "I want you to try your best." I want my students to know I believe in them and if they work hard, they can succeed. My students are bright, creative, and hard workers. They are a very active and sweet group. My classroom is very diverse, representing different cultures, personalities, and academic levels. My school covers grades 4K-2nd. It is a high poverty school. All of our students are on a free lunch and breakfast program. Despite challenges, my students try their best each day!
