My students are amazing. There are twelve students in my self-contained class with a wide range of disabilities. Although they have disabilities, they try their best to not allow their disabilities hold them back from accomplishing their goals. The disabilities range from learning disabilities to emotional disturbance and even autism.
Although my students have different learning needs than other students, they are no different than any other student.
They laugh, they cry, they struggle, they succeed. They are really a great group of kids that I honestly feel have been dealt a rough hand. All in all they are mine. My students.
