Thank you for your generosity in donating the supplies for our students. The excitement on the students faces were priceless. The students were very eager and proud to show off their supplies on our zoom meetings. Our students have been able to use the supplies in various ways. For example, the wipe boards and markers are able to be utilized everyday to help better engage all of our students in many subject areas. Students are able to quickly show what they know and respond to questions immediately without having to worry about typing. It has motivated the students who are shy to participate more as well since they do not need to unmute themselves they can show their response on the board.

They were also excited to use the paper and various art materials to create a poster for a school wide C.A.R.E.S project. Each class was asked to create a poster for one of the letters. Our class had to create a poster for the letter A which represented "achievement". The students were able to create colorful posters which they proudly displayed and we were able to take a screen shot of each student with their posters. In addition students were able to participate in art activities such as creating paintings to help celebrate Earth day. In addition, they were also able to create illustrations for their informational books.

In closing we are extremely grateful to have donors like you to help make a difference in lives of our students . By having simple supplies such as pencil and paper it gave students additional ways to participate in assignments when their devices would malfunction. Our students and parents are very thankful for the supplies, during such a hard time.”

With gratitude,

Mrs. Kane
