  • Technology for Writers.

    Thank you so much for your generosity. Since we have received the document camera, it has really helped the students in their writing. It is has been very helpful to display the students' writing, and we can edit it together. They are really enjoying seeing their work displayed. They are really taking accountability in their work. The laptops have also made a major impact in our classroom. With the additional two lap tops, we are able to get more students on the computers during centers time. The students are making improvements everyday with their reading comprehension and writing. I can not express to you how much your generosity meant to us.”

    I can't express how grateful my students and I are for your donation. The day that our computers came in was so exciting. All the students couldn't wait to get a chance to use the computers. The computers are being used everyday and have made a big impact in their learning.

    The computers are great for the students who are finishing their work before the others. It gives them a chance to be more challenged, and to work on their reading and computer skills. It is also having a big impact on one student who can't read. This student is given the chance to work on a website that is improving her reading everyday. She comes in everyday excited about reading on the computer.

I am requesting two Chromebooks for my 4th grade Language Arts classroom. My students would be able to use the chrome books to write their stories. The students would also be able to use the chrome books to prepare for the PARCC test that they take in May. Many of the students do not have access to computers at home,so when they have to take the state test on computer it can be very overwhelming for them. The Chromebooks in the classroom would also give the students who are performing below grade is level a way for them to listen to their stories.
