College and Career Exploration
Funded Apr 13, 2023Thank you for providing the reference books for my middle school students. The students were excited to be able to read and do research on their future careers. The books came at the right time. Currently the school doesn't have a a functioning library so the books helped to increase motivation, skill development, broadened horizons and real-world relevance.
The books help them make informed decisions about future careers. Career exploration helps them make more informed decisions about their educational path, such as choosing elective courses or extracurricular activities that align with their interests and potential careers.
I have several students who had a lot of questions about the cost of college and wanted to knows ways and in which they could help their families with that. The books had very good information on how they could pay for their college tuition and other expenses.
Thank you once again for providing these resources for tomorrow's future.”

Funded Feb 8, 2023Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hearing this great news a the ending of my workday was amazing. I thought my project wouldn't get funded because time was winding down. I am so glad that you saw and understood the importance of helping my students excel in reading and math. This will provide them with additional resources to pass the state mandated test in Texas.”

Funded Nov 26, 2021We truly appreciate your support and donation towards the cause of introducing middle school scholars to the technology field of robotic nd helping educate economically disadvantaged students. It was extremely kind of you to respond to funding the "Rockin Robots" and help us purchase the robotic kits.
The students were so excited to be able to be hands on with creating a robot with the use of technology. Prior to receiving the robots the students that there are different paths to take to lead to a favorable outcome. The decided to for there first robot to create the dancing robot they were watching the video and working as a team to create and make the robot dance. To see them engaged and involved was the highlight for me. Most of the students somewhat liked technology but others could care less. When the students were given roles in the team and actually see it all come together was awesome.
We can't thank you enough for your help. It is an encouraging reminder that kind hearted people like you are always ready o lend a helping hand to those who need it the most.”
