My classroom consist of students from various backgrounds as well as low income families ranging in age from 3-5 years. My goal as an educator is to give them the experiences that they may never have outside of school. I want to make sure that I set a sound foundation in regards to their education so that they have a positive outlook when it comes to school. I believe that if they have an inviting environment and hands-on materials it will pique their interest and curiosity. I love seeing the smiles on my students' faces when we have new furniture or materials arrive in the classroom.
