Having a carpet for my students to come to will make a huge difference! This carpet will provide them comfort when they are being asked to stretch their brains. It will also ensure that I have close proximity of my students so that I am able to read their body language and facial expressions to better assess how well they are grasping the new information. Although it will not directly help improve a specific piece of instruction, I strongly believe that the comfort will allow my students to become risk takers. Another goal that I always try to reach is to make my students feel at home through the atmosphere that I create.
