This project has allowed my students to see when we put effort in accomplishing our goals, we can succeed. Donors Choose has made our goals come to pass. Teaching science through cooking will be a phenomenal journey now that we will have a functional sink.”

We would not be able to have our Science Through Cooking program without a functional and sanitary sink! This program means so much to our students and we're looking forward to learning science by cooking. Currently, our sink is outdated and hardly functioning, which limits our opportunities. Our students are so excited to get this program going! The sooner we are able to get the sink in our classroom, the quicker we will have hands-on learning! This innovative approach to teaching science in the classroom is unlike anything schools in our area have to offer. We are transforming an outdated science lab to a modern 21st century kitchen laboratory. This program will teach the students life long lessons that they will be able to apply to their lives for years to come.
