A light table will allow me to support lesson through exploration and play. They could learn about science, literacy, math, fine motor and writing skills! Manipulating letters through the light will make building their names exciting. Open ended lessons will allow them to be creative thinkers and problem solvers. A light table will keep students engaged in academic play and help promote academic language. They will also learn to work as a team, and develop early developmental skills such as sharing and taking turns. The light table will be an inviting learning space all students would want to go to.
