These books will help me build a library that offers culturally relevant reading titles to my students. The books selected are 4th and 5th grade level AR readers which will provide my students the challenge they need to read at their target levels and beyond! Students will be able to choose books that interest them. My students will have a larger variety of books to keep reading! We have read novels in the past, worked in groups of literacy circles, and the kids enjoy discussing the novels and hearing others' perspectives.
