Color Printing for Handouts
Funded Feb 18, 2023Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. Our students with disabilities having been impacted in a positive way due to your donation. We now are able to get them modified materials more easily and more often with the use of the color printer and scanner. We also have been able to scan in any handwritten materials to make copies of in color or to upload for them to use at home. Each of them has been so excited to be given materials that are made special just for them. Your donation will continue to aid students for years to come, my middle school team teachers and myself are so thankful and grateful for you.”

This classroom project was brought to life by LOFT and 4 other donors.Small-Group Seating
Funded Dec 13, 2021Thank you so much for the opportunity to create a more comfortable and beneficial learning environment for my students who work in small, teacher-led groups. Your donation has made our experience a more positive one and the students enjoy learning more all because of you!
When we received the boxes with our new small group seating, the students were excited to pick a colored cushion to use and we were also able to establish one student to be a monitor to clean up and distribute during each session. The students were able to be more engaged during the lessons and therefore were more able to achieve success!”

Science and Social Studies Hands On!
Funded Mar 8, 2018Thank you so much for the fun learning materials! My students really enjoy the file folder games and absolutely love the model solar system.
The file folder games have really been helpful for review with social studies. Our class is focusing on pre civil war American history and the games are excellent for unit reviews and station activities. They are even requesting to do them on their own! Specifically, as a class, they really liked the Bill of Rights file folder game. In it, he students need to read he real world example and match it to the amendment it is discussing. Afterwords, they have to decide if the real world situation is constitutional or not.
When the box first arrived the students were very curious as to what was inside. Of course, I knew what it was so I opened it with them. They immediately gravitated towards the model solar system, as they are very visual this was an instant favorite.
As the year comes to a close, the 8th grade group will be moving on to high school and hopefully can use these activities as a way for recalling the information. The 7th grade group will have another opportunity to see them again in the classroom and in September will see some of the American history file folder games when we do a quick review.
Thank you so much for these items and please know how much we really appreciate your generosity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Santiago
