Funded Aug 2, 2021Thank you so much for your generosity. The supplies have had a significant impact on my students' learning. One of my students' favorite supplies was the "Colors of the world" crayons. Their eyes lit up when they found the perfect crayon to color their skin tone.
My students that were unable to bring supplies such as folders, headphones or scissors were so excited when they got to school on the first day and had materials ready for them. They have taken excellent care of all of the materials and use them in our daily instruction.
Thank you so much for your support of my students and their learning. We are very grateful for your support of our classroom.”

Funded Mar 16, 2021My students have been enjoying our new books! The engaging books have helped students develop their love of reading. In our classroom, students can't wait to choose a book to read after breakfast in the morning when they come to school. We also have independent time for students to self-select books and spend time reading. Before students go home for the day, they love to buddy read while they wait for the buses to arrive. Students can't seem to get enough reading time! They absolutely love reading the books.

Funded Feb 7, 2021We have been back learning in person for several weeks. My students were so excited to walk into the classroom to find special individual book bags at their chairs for them to keep their books in.
Due to Covid safety guidelines, we. have been required to keep all materials separate. The book bags have been so useful in keeping student books separated at their tables. The students love seeing what books they get to read and keep in their book bag for the week.
We have also enjoyed using the cards and dice for fun math games. My students get so excited for math every day because of the engaging games we get to play every day because of your generosity.
I am so thankful to have support for my 2nd grade students during these challenging times. Your help has been so appreciated and has had a positive impact on my students' learning.”

Readers Need Books
Funded Mar 2, 2020Thank you so much for your generosity. Your support of my students and classroom means the world to me! Although instruction did not go as we traditionally planned this Spring, we were still able to use the books.
My students absolutely loved reading their new books. After receiving them, we shortly transitioned to distance learning. I was able to still use the new books as read-alouds over Zoom. My students loved having the opportunity to hear the new stories, even from their homes. Thank you for playing a role in instilling the love of literacy in my students!”

Funded Jan 3, 2020Thank you so much for your contributions to my students' education. Your generosity has made a positive impact in the lives of my students! When the box arrived, my students were excited and curious to find out what was inside. When I opened it with them, they were ecstatic to hear that they would have special bags to bring home books from school every week.
When my students got their special bags filled up with books they couldn't wait to get home and read. As students left the building, proudly carrying their bags, they were talking about how excited they were to get home and read their books.
As we continue through the school year, I'm sure that your contributions will help my students in their love for reading as well as their reading abilities. I'm excited that they get to have literacy experiences in their homes as well as our classroom as a result of your donation.”

Students Need Diverse Books
Funded Aug 11, 2018My students have enjoyed reading our new books this semester. They have been a wonderful addition to our classroom library and selection of read-alouds. The books have been used for several reading and writing lessons. They have also been books that students can read for fun during their independent reading time. The books have surely made an impact on many students. The students have loved to see books that have characters that are similar to them, as well as explore diverse characters from other cultures.
Thank you for your donations. You have definitely made an impact on my students and their passion for reading.”

Students Need Supplies!
Funded Oct 5, 2017My students were very excited when the materials arrived in our classroom. As I showed the different materials to the students, they got even more excited. My students were very engaged in their learning because of the new materials.
The whiteboards have been very popular with students and have greatly enhanced student learning and engagement throughout this past semester. We have used the boards for math problems, spelling sight words, practicing our writing among many other things. Students have also enjoyed using the math manipulatives. I have really enjoyed using the whiteboard easel for small group instruction. This has allowed me to provide guided instruction for math and reading during small group time.
Because of your generosity, my students have been very successful this past semester and have been having fun while learning. We are excited to continue using these materials this semester.”
