My students come from low-income families and many do not travel outside of the community. I want my students to be able to read non-fiction books in Science and Social Studies to help them in middle school, high school, and even in college to compete with other students their age in leadership opportunities. This Guided Reading Collection of Nonfiction books will help my students to grow both academically and personally. Some of these books are about important leaders of the past, and some of them deal with science topics that are real in the world today. Please help me to help my students. They are great kids and deserve every opportunity that I can give them.
