In our Montessori classroom students as young as 6 years old practice cursive handwriting. We use a variety of Montessori materials to accomplish this such task and yet my students need daily practice in a workbook all their own. This project would ensure that all 22 of my students have their own workbook for daily practice. Independent Reading Time is a vital time in our classroom each day. The flexible seating from Lakeshore will provide some of our students with a special place to sit and explore reading. Some additional materials I need are watercolor pencils and ink cartridges for my printer.
