Gearing Up For STEM

This classroom project was brought to life by Con Edison and 4 other donors.

As the students come into school in South Jamaica, Queens, they escape from their harsh realities of homelessness, family substance abuse and more. This STEM lab will allow them to escape those realities and learn through play and creation. BB King said "The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you." These items on my wishlist will allow an open ended array of activities that will ignite their imagination, creation, discovery and so much more. They will be coders, creators, builder, scientists and future leaders!
