My project is to purchase cushions, yoga mats and bean bag chairs to promote student learning in a flexible seating atmosphere. My students love sitting around the classroom during instructional time and independent reading time. Currently, my students are always sharing how uncomfortable it is to sit on the cold, hard floor. These materials will provide my students with opportunities to be engaged in learning while in a fun and comfortable space. My students will be able to focus more on their assignment which will enhance my lessons. These flexible seating options will benefit my students for years to come. Thank-you for helping me create a positive, student friendly classroom environment.
