The students in the grades six to ten science classes have few abilities to explore science from texts or to explore individually. Classroom textbook sets are written at a difficult reading level, limited in number and not up to date. The online curriculum resource study.com offers micro lessons with readings, videos and audio and multilingual support. The electronic resources provide the science information at multiple reading levels, in multiple languages, and with audio support. It serves as both a way to preview new information with English language learners, or as a way for students to advance their learning with independent enrichment study. The resources will support all readers, and provide additional support to English language learners and students with learning differences. Students each have an iPad to read or listen to the assigned materials. They may also use the resources at school and at home for independent, enrichment learning and scientific exploration.
