My goal this year is to provide choice within my classroom. I want to give my wiggly students a tool that will help them stay engaged. I have borrowed a single learning stool for an especially struggling student in my class this week and it has worked wonders.
The hard plastic chairs we currently sit on are limiting to the productivity throughout our day. It is difficult for teachers and students to maneuver through the classroom with ease. These wiggle stools (as the kiddos call them) can be tucked under their desks to save space. They can also be placed on top of the desks at the end of the school day. Please help me brighten my second graders' future. Give what you can, even if it's happy thoughts!
