  • STEM into American History

    Funded Oct 30, 2022

Thanks to your amazing generous donations my students have been able to explore United States History in a way they have never had a opportunity to before. We have built replicas of important American Symbols, recreated buildings like the White House, and even been able to use the Legos and magnetic tiles as classroom incentives!

Additionally, I was able to start a school-wide Lego Club! Here students in all grades are able to come and explore building without the academic pressures! It has been amazing with a turnout of over 40 students!

Thank you so much again for this selfless donation, it has been more impactful than I could ever express with words!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Baez

This classroom project was brought to life by The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation and 10 other donors.
  • History Through Art

    Funded Apr 3, 2022

Thanks to your kind and generous donations my students have been able to experience Art History through a new mediums that have helped them not only understand but relate to artists!

To open the school year, we were able to make pre-historic sculpture replicas out of clay and legos. Students were able to create small fertility sculptures similar the the "Venus of Willendorf" and other prehistoric sculptures. I was also able to purchase amazing project plans and curriculum to better teach my middle schoolers and the "Annotated Mona Lisa" text has also been a great resource!

Additionally, we have used the pencils, colored pencils, and construction paper to make cave drawings and the legos to build early structures!

Words cannot express how much my students and I appreciate your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Baez

  • Step-up the Tech

    Funded Dec 24, 2020

Thanks to your generous donations we were able to improve our student and parent outreach during this school years.

We made tutorials for parents and students that assisted them with accessing virtual resources and materials. We were also able to host countless virtual meetings, ceremonies , and events.

Thanks to you our families were able to feel like they were still a part of our school and everything we were offering, though they were learning virtually from home. Words Cannot express how grateful we are to you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Baez

  • We Can Do Virtually Anything!

    Funded Nov 23, 2020

Thanks to your generous donations I was able to provide five, fifth grade students with brand new HP laptops! With these new devices they have gained access to their virtual classes, online assignments, and even virtual events to celebrate their many successes.

The gratitude and joy on their faces and in their voices is difficult to express with words! Many of my students have never received such a sizable gift and one student even told me "this is the best gift ever! Better than anything in the whole world!"

One fifth grader, who hopes to be an astronaut, has even used her computer to follow telescopes around the world and star gaze from her room! She keeps the class updated on her weekly findings thanks to her new laptop.

Again, words can not express how grateful and overjoyed we all are thanks to your generous and selfless donations!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Baez
