The Wren Avenue Counseling Center dreams of providing a wellness experience to our elementary students. This experience would allow students who haven't found their place at recess to have a safe space to exercise their minds and bodies. They will not have to search for that elusive friend on the playground at recess but, rather, they will know their exact location. The Wren Counseling Center offers an alternative refuge to the playground through activities geared towards social-emotional learning social connection. This wellness experience for students provides an opportunity for them to learn how to manage stress through breathing and healthy movement, increase self-confidence and self-image, and be a part of healthy, non-competitive group of peers. We are requesting supplies that will support this overall wellness experience, at the elementary level.
