Our students were able to use the Spheros in the classroom to enrich their Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) skills inside and outside the classroom. They engineered an obstacle course in which their programming skills were challenged. Our students were excited to work with each other and an educator from the Orange County Department of Education stated the deep level of thinking the students were able to use through their communication skills as they worked in teams. This is a quote from a student "When I came into this class this year, I knew absolutely nothing about computer science. However I have learned so much about how data is compressed, how code works, and how much fun I can have with a computer. I’m excited for the next semester and where this class will take me. Thank you so much Mr. Mckernan for giving me this opportunity!
