The students will get to explore their love of reading novels written in "novel verse". Many students love books that are written in this form because of the "flow" of the novel. They just finished reading "The One and Only Ivan" and their reading engagement was at a all time high. Allowing for each study to have their own copy of the novel will further allow the students to read the book at home and at school to enhance their comprehension of the novel in all areas. They will have projects and activities that follow with the novel.
