  • Starbooks Cafe

    Thanks so much for supporting my "Starbooks Cafe" project. The students are so excited to have alternative seating in the media center for their reading pleasure.

    The high top tables and bar stools give a warm and inviting appeal for the students.

    My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work and read.

    Your generous donation is greatly appreciated and will bring years of enjoyment to our students at Kay Road Elementary media center.”

It is wonderful to have the technology for my students to create objects which relate to topics they are studying.     I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for your generous donation to my project . We have received our new button maker and we are so excited.

    When our Donors Choose box was delivered I let my students help me open it and unpack all of of our new materials. The smiles on their faces were priceless! These donation has allowed our students to use creative thinking skills to develop buttons for school activities such as Read Across America. Working together teaches them how to communicate with each other in a positive way. The button maker also allow them to use critical thinking skills and to work with their hands.

I developed a STEM lounge for the students to have their own space to explore the numerous activities. Working together teaches them how to communicate with each other in a positive way.
