My K/1 scholars are amazing. They are curious, kind, hardworking, and hilarious. These awesome scholars show up to school each day with a level of excitement and enthusiasm that inspires me to do all I can to create positive early learning. Technology in schools is ever-changing and with all the added technology elements (laptop, projector, document camera, CD player, headphones with mics), our classroom is in need of a place to store it all! The Lakeshore media cart will allow me to project to the screen while using my laptop, easily switch to the document camera, and move the technology around the classroom as needed. In addition, this media cart will store all of our classroom technology and utilize the technology at a height level appropriate for young learners! This will be a fabulous and much-needed addition to our classroom. K/1 students have big feelings and using puppets and dramatic play is a great way to talk about those age appropriate feelings and help give students tools for their toolbox. It’s a fun way for students to role play, take on characters and learn more ways to talk about feelings, learn empathy and learn to advocate for themselves, all through the magic of puppets.
