My students enjoy hands on activities and games. I have seen how games help them better understand new concepts. My students learn best when I create lessons in which they work in cooperative groups or in partners. This also helps to build their social skills. This year my students are learning how to use the dictionary and thesaurus. They get so excited when they find a word in the dictionary or thesaurus!
