An effective physical education program is dependent upon proper equipment. Without equipment, it is impossible to teach to all of the physical education standards, and to reach out to diverse learners needs. Unfortunately because of the lack of equipment, I am unable to teach many important psychomotor skills that are crucial to our students whole body development. My students need many different types of equipment like jumpropes, parachutes, volleyballs, soccerballs, speed stacks, and flying disk. The donation of equipment would make a world of difference for all of my students. My students are always eager to learn. They enjoy trying new activities and respectfully working with different types of equipment. With the addition of fingerlight balls, my students with Autism will be able to be successful in self tossing and catching. New speedstacks will allow all of my students to practice crossing the midline of their body to use both sides of their body and brain. The addition of soft volleyballs will be a new and exciting activity that will help students develop hand eye coordination. All students will greatly benefit from the addition of new equipment!
